Istanbul Clues is free to read. The site is supported by display advertising, by affiliate links in some guides, and by the referral arrangement described below. I also offer private walking tours in Istanbul. Those tours are my own services, not affiliate products.

How Affiliate Links Are Presented
My editorial approach is to explain official ticket prices, official sales channels, and access conditions before presenting relevant third-party options separately. A commission is not, by itself, a reason to recommend a ticket or tour.
When I revise an article that includes affiliate links, I identify the commercial relationship in that section, before the first link. This general policy does not replace that notice in the article itself.

Some pages show advertisements served through Google AdSense. I do not select individual ads, and an advertisement appearing beside a guide is not an editorial recommendation from me.
