Thank you very much for your message and for your interest in my Byzantine History Tour.

I’m sorry that I have only just seen your comment. Tour requests submitted through the comments section of the website are not checked as frequently as direct booking inquiries, so unfortunately I did not see it earlier.

In any case, I am already fully booked for **Saturday, September 19**, and during the busy season I am generally not able to accept reservations at such short notice.

I’m sorry we cannot make it work this time, especially as your daughter has a particular interest in Byzantine history.

I hope you have a wonderful stay in Istanbul, and perhaps we may have the opportunity to meet on a future visit.

Hello. My family and I are interested in your guided tour of Byzantine history and heritage. We would enjoy starting as early as possible in the day to walk when it’s cool. Please let me know if you are available this Saturday, the 19th, and if so, what you charge. There will be three of us, including a daughter who had a wonderful course in Byzantine history in college.

Thank you very much for sharing this. It’s always fascinating to hear how The Magnificent Century introduced people around the world to Ottoman history and the story of Suleyman and Hurrem Sultan.

The series certainly dramatizes many events, but it also sparked curiosity in countless viewers about the real history behind the Ottoman dynasty. I’m especially glad to hear that it even became a topic of conversation between you and your Turkish surgeon — that is one of the beautiful things about history: it creates unexpected connections between people from very different backgrounds.

I landed on The Magnificent Century due to my curiosity and passion for ruling dynasties. I began watching this series before it had English subtitles trying to determine what was being said and trying to read English written translations. I found it again recently but with English subtitles and I absolutely love it. My hand surgeon is from Turkey and he and I discussed the history of Sulyeman and Hurrem Sultan many times

Firstly, thank you for a most helpful site. Very helpful.

We are a party of 3 adults. My wife and I came in October 2025 and loved it. We are back, this time together with our adult daughter.

We would like to consider a walking tour of Fener and Balat on 28, 29 or 30 March 2026 depending on your charges and availability.
